Jay G. Grubb, J.D.

Jay is an Of Counsel attorney to the Law Office of Kevin A. Pollock in Pennington, New Jersey. For over twenty years he has represented clients in all facets of the entertainment industry specializing in music related issues. Jay's intellectual property practice includes copyright, trademark, book publishing, motion picture, and fine art law. He is a frequent lecturer at seminars and schools including the Peabody Institute of Music, the Maryland Institute of Art and the University of Baltimore Law School. He also teaches undergraduate courses in music business and music history.

Jay has received numerous honors including a Mayor's Citation and was named one of the top 115 lawyers in Maryland in Baltimore Magazine. Jay has been a past president and vice president of Maryland Lawyers for the Arts and was a founding columnist and advisor for "Scr(I)pt" magazine.

Jay graduated cum laude from University of Maryland Baltimore County campus with a dual major in Economics and Political Science. He was a member of Omicron Delta Epsilon economic honor society. He was a columnist and music reviewer for the Retriever newspaper, and a disc jockey for WUMD.
